Checking the status online of your TDS challan can be done through two modes: TAN view and CIN view.
TAN view simply stands for Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number, which is a unique number assigned to every deductor. Here’s how you check the TDS challan status through the TAN view:
Step 1:
Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department or simply open the Tax Information Network (TIN)-NSDL portal.

Once you are in, select the TAN-based view, under ‘For Tax Payers’

Note: Remember that you can check the status of your TDS challan only for a specified period that can not be more than 2 years/ 24 months from the current date.
The CIN view deals with the method of checking TDS challan status using the challan identification number. You can find your challan identification number on the challan receipt issued by the bank.
