Tarun Chugh is the MD & CEO of Bajaj Allianz Life. He is a seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent over sixteen years in leadership roles within the Indian life insurance sector.

Tarun was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PNB Metlife. He has also successfully crossed several professional milestones during his stint with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where he was the Chief Distribution Officer. Prior to coming into the life insurance industry, Tarun was an Investment Banker, where he worked for over a decade.

Tarun has emerged as a transformational leader, driving tremendous change by adopting turnkey initiatives, across the organizations he has led. He is known for his strategic orientation, which has enabled him to build strong businesses throughout his career. He believes in investing towards strengthening long-term relationships across stakeholder groups.

Tarun is also appointed as the Member of the Governing Council of Insurance Information Bureau of India (IIB). He is also serving as a Member of the Distribution Committee of Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India (IRDAI). He is a Board of Governor Member of IIM Sambalpur and on the Advisory Board of Christ Lavasa. He is the ex-Elected Member of the Executive Committee of Life Insurance Council of India.

Tarun is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and an MBA graduate from IIM, Lucknow. He is married to Simran and has two sons. He enjoys taking adventure and nature holidays with them. Tarun is an avid reader and loves reading across genres.

Vipin Bansal is the Chief Financial Officer at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance in Pune, Maharashtra, India. With over two decades of experience in Financial Reporting, Risk Management, and M&A, Vipin's expertise in shaping financial strategies spans across diverse sectors, including BFSI, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, logistics, and metals.

He joined the Bajaj Finserv Group in 2020, where he has held various roles covering Risk, M&A, Internal Audit, and ESG. Prior to his tenure at Bajaj Finserv Group, Vipin held positions with Price Waterhouse (and its network firms), culminating in his role as a Partner in the firm's Assurance Practice.

Vipin is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nagpur University.

Anil is currently heading the Legal & Compliance function for Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

He has been associated with the Company since February 2017. Anil is a seasoned legal & compliance leader with around twenty years of rich experience having substantive exposure & expertise in most areas of laws, regulations, statutes, corporate governance, trademarks, service marks, intellectual property rights & more.

Sampath Reddy is the key force behind Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance’s fund performance that has helped strengthen customers’ trust in the brand. With over a decade and a half in the organization, Sampath has leveraged his acute sense of fund management to enable customers achieve their life goals by investing in the company’s products.

Sampath leads a strong team of fund managers who have their fingers on the pulse of the Indian stock market, and who have been trained to develop long term investment strategies. He works closely with the banking and financial services fraternity in India. Prior to Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Sampath worked for nearly a decade as a Fund Manager with Principal PNB Asset Management, Hedge Fund - Voyager, HSBC Securities & Capital Markets and ABN Amro Asia Equities.

Sampath holds a degree in Engineering and an MBA. He is also a CFA Charter Holder from the CFA Institute, USA.

Rajesh Shanoy is the Company Secretary at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance. He joined the organisation in April 2017. Prior to joining this Company he has worked with Bajaj Finance Limited for more than 5 years.

Rajesh has more than 15 years' experience in handling matters related to SEBI and corporate laws, company secretarial, legal, financial, cost and management accounting. He has also worked with leading listed companies in directional media and manufacturing space.

Rajesh is a Commerce Graduate, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant by qualifications.

Avdhesh Gupta is the Appointed Actuary at Bajaj Allianz Life. He joined the company in June 2019 and is responsible for Actuarial Valuations, Shareholder Reporting, Product Pricing and Financial Risk.

A seasoned professional, Avdhesh brings with him over 15 years of experience in the actuarial domain. Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Avdhesh worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as the Principal Consultant in Actuarial services. In his earlier stints, he has led multiple roles at Aegon Life Insurance Company, SwissRe and HSBC.

Avdhesh is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK (FIA). He completed his MSc in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, London.

Farid Valani is the Chief Risk Officer at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance. He joined the Company in December 2008 and has led multiple roles in the Actuarial domain. In his present role, Farid is responsible for the risk management function of the Company.
With over 15 years of experience in the life insurance sector, Farid has had a diverse exposure in managing Statutory Valuation, Regulatory and Shareholder Reporting, providing him with an in-depth understanding of the financial risks of a life insurance company.
Farid completed his Masters in Actuarial Science from University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom.

Amit Jaiswal heads the direct distribution channel as the Chief Distribution Officer Proprietary Sales at Bajaj Allianz Life. With more than two decades of experience in trade marketing, business development, new distribution set up and sales automation, he holds strong credentials in delivering superior performances under demanding work environments.

In his current role, Amit is responsible for scaling and propelling the proprietary, defense and the India Post Payment Bank’s business and to achieve robust business growth. And in his seven years here he had led the BALIC PSF business in becoming the second largest in the Indian Life Insurance sector. Prior to Bajaj Allianz Life, Amit has worked in organizations like ICICI Prudential, PNB MetLife, Diageo, Amway and USL, with business footprints across India. In his various roles, he has successfully driven high-value revenue and profit plans, implemented large-scale cost saving, built prolific strategic alliances, and improved organizational productivity and performance. He has demonstrated strengths in identifying and eliminating operational deficiencies and business pain points towards improving overall business growth. Amit has completed his M.B.A. from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology.

Anil is a qualified lawyer with over 24 years of legal experience, majority of which has been as in-house counsel with corporates in the insurance sector.

In his current role, Anil is responsible for providing strategic advice and opinions on legal, compliance, and business issues. The role also focusses on ensuring the Company’s compliance with applicable laws, managing regulatory audits and inspections, and prevention and mitigation of fraud. Anil also plays a critical role of representing the organisation during regulations development for the positive growth of the sector. He continues to be a part of various IRDAI and Life Council Committees in his current role.

Anil has also worked with other leading life insurers including PNB MetLife India and Aviva Life Insurance. Apart from life insurance, he has worked with Quark Media House and BEA Systems Pvt. Ltd. Before switching to corporates, Anil was practicing law before the Madras High Court, and had brief stints with a law firm and a telecom company in the USA.

Anil has completed his Bachelor’s in law from the Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, and his Master’s degree in law from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. He’s married to Devi and has two children – Tara and Akshay. He is an avid off-road enthusiast and loves travelling.

He has been pivotal in uplifting the brand health for the last five years at Bajaj Allianz Life via engaging marketing initiatives including LifeGoals Series, Plankathon, SuperStar After Retirement and several social media campaigns. The brand set "Guinness Book of World Records" thrice for its unique health initiative and emerged as the No. 1 Riser Brand, 2022 in Kantars 75 Most Valuable Indian Brands 2022.

An industry veteran with over 24 years of experience, Chandramohan has held senior leadership positions at Sony Pictures Networks India, SBI Life Insurance, and Kotak Life. He is an alumnus of INSEAD and BITS Pilani.

CM enjoys long distance running and has completed six world marathon majors.

Dheeraj Sehgal took charge as the Chief Distribution Officer - Institutional Business at Bajaj Allianz Life in November 2017. A results-driven professional, Dheeraj brings with him over two decades of experience in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries, leading multiple roles in sales and distribution, building new business models and defining business strategies. Dheeraj has a track record of successfully leading large teams and projects and is known for building long-lasting alliances.

In his present role, Dheeraj is responsible for all institutional businesses including bancassurance, financial inclusion, broking, corporate agency, employee benefits and online business. Under his leadership, Bajaj Allianz Life runs successful partnerships with India’s leading banks, brokerage firms, insurance aggregators and more.

Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Dheeraj was the Executive Vice President & Head Retail Sales at ICICI Securities where he scaled up new businesses and processes. In his earlier stints, he has worked with The Hollard Insurance Company, ICICI Prudential Life, Merck Ltd and Lupin Ltd, where he led various roles and was instrumental in driving superior business performance.

Dheeraj is a Chartered Wealth Manager from American Academy of Financial Management and has done a Senior Management Program from IIM Calcutta.

Goutam Datta joined Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance in November 2018 as the Chief Information & Digital Officer. He brings with him over two decades of experience in the field of Technology where he has successfully spearheaded the development of enterprise digital roadmaps, while managing large-scale technology operations and implementing innovative technology projects. In his all-encompassing journey, Goutam has witnessed the technology evolution from traditional business processes to customer-centric processes through digital implementations.

A proven strategic leader, Goutam is passionate about creating tangible business value through the use of technology solutions and innovation to drive and deliver business results. He is an astute believer of ‘one team’ model and is known for leading teams to collectively achieve desired business results.

Goutam is well regarded amongst peers for his collaborative approach towards problem solving. This has led to several successes in business technology alignment, unlocking new business opportunities and enhancing efficiencies in the Companies he has been associated with.

Prior to Bajaj Allianz Life, Goutam led the Technology & Digital Innovation team at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company. Here he enabled processes and systems for smoother customer onboarding, experience and business technology transformation. He was instrumental in implementing algorithmic projects (cognitive/AI platform) to redefine the traditional insurance space. Goutam has also worked with Essel Group of Companies and Tata Infotech Ltd in the past.

 Goutam is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta. He enjoys playing badminton and reading history and management books.

Omesh brings with him over two decades of rich experience in risk, fraud and customer analytics. At Bajaj Allianz Life, he has built and scaled-up the analytics capability and has been responsible for developing the analytics vision and strategy for the organisation.

Over the years, Omesh has developed deep subject matter expertise on data management and analytics.  He has enabled organisations in their transformational journeys by setting up the teams, data infrastructure, and processes that helped deliver new-age analytics solutions for business

Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Omesh worked with TCS, Neural Technologies, HSBC and Accenture across - insurance, banking and telecom sectors. He also co-founded Litmass Analytics that offered risk analytics products and services to leading Indian banks and insurance companies.

Omesh holds a Master’s degree in Statistics, with specialization in Applied Statistics and Data Analytics from the Indian Statistical Institute. He enjoys spending time with his family, and takes active interest in gardening and reading.

Rajesh, a seasoned BFSI specialist, comes with over 25 years of cross-functional and leadership experience in the Banking & Insurance industry.

Customer centricity is a key part of Rajesh’s role at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, where he drives the brand’s customer obsession journey through various strategic interventions and initiatives. He is also responsible for achieving deeper stakeholder engagement, through best-in-class processes built to deliver safe, secure and seamless experiences across the board.

In his previous stint, Rajesh held the position of Chief - Customer Service & Operations at Pramerica Life Insurance. He has also worked with leading brands including ICICI Prudential Life, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Thomas Cook etc., where he spearheaded several key projects to ensure last-mile delivery of customer delight, and achievement of business goals.

Rajesh is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School, and has a PGDBA certification from Symbiosis. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Licentiate from Insurance Institute of India.

He is an avid traveller, reader, and a sports enthusiast, and is fluent in six languages. Rajesh is passionate about building a better society and volunteers for providing access to education for underprivileged children and protection of animals against cruelty.

As the leader of the Agency business channel, Sameer anchors his business strategies on the promise of delivering superior customer experience. He empowers the large force of the Company’s Insurance Consultants (ICs, or agents as popularly known in the industry) with digital assets and easy to access knowledge of the Company’s value-packed life insurance products and seamless services. He consistently invests towards training and development of the ICs to ensure they understand the customers’ Life Goals and respond to their needs accordingly.

Sameer has been with Bajaj Allianz Life since 2014 and also led the HR function at the Company.

Sameer has spent nearly 17 years in the life insurance sector, and is a seasoned leader with a focus of driving businesses to the path of profitability. A result-oriented distribution specialist, Sameer is skilled in business planning, sales and talent management.

Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Sameer worked with HDFC Life and ICICI Prudential Life leading different business channels.

Sameer is a Physics graduate and has completed his MMS in Marketing from Mumbai University. He enjoys teaching and playing Table Tennis. 

As Bajaj Allianz Life’s Chief Investment Officer, Sampath Reddy manages an AUM of over INR 85 thousand crores, along with a team of fund management and investment experts.

It’s his leadership and prudent investment expertise that has strengthened the customer’s trust in the brand, as the team continuously delivers towards the brand’s promise of getting their Life Goals DONE.

Santanu, a seasoned industry veteran, comes with over 22 years of experience in human resources. In his current role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of people management, talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, organisational effectiveness, and succession planning. Santanu also has played a critical role in the transformation journey at Bajaj Allianz Life with respect to people policies and culture development.

Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Santanu worked with Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer. The other HR roles were with ING Vysya Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, and Hathway Cable & Dotcom.  

Santanu graduated from the University of Calcutta and holds a Master’s degree in HR from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata. An avid reader of literature, he is also a trained classical musician, who loves to play musical instruments.
